Just a quick post to mention we are experiencing a high volume of bookings at present, with our bookings being approx. 2 months in advance.
Last years (stupid) MOT extension combined with amounts of large repair work is pushing our booking times backwards. We are at full capacity and apologise for the cars we’re unable to squeeze in sooner.

If you prefer to have your car mot’d, serviced or repaired with us, please book months in advance to avoid disappointment.

It goes without saying, thank you to all our great, loyal customers for their support!

Good Garage Scheme Top 5 feedback of the week

We have made the Good Garage Scheme Top 5 feedback of the week again, for the fourth time!

Once again, thank you to everyone that takes the time to leave us such great feedback online, to our faces or bring in treats to say thank you. We appreciate it so much, it really brightens our day.

We have been snowed under with extra work for a long time now and feel the pressure to return cars as quickly as we can. So much so we have forgotten to post we have now been open 6 years this March! The time has flown by!

Thank you to all our loyal, fantastic, friendly customers. We appreciate you all very much!

We are still open

We are still open as normal being an essential service and MOT Station. Listed in the picture below from the latest Gov National Lockdown guide.

We are still carrying out our contactless service with payment by card over the phone the preferred method of payment to reduce contact and time in our reception. Masks are to be worn in reception.

If you’d prefer to carry out all interactions outside just let us know and we can carry that out.

If you have any further questions please get in touch. We are currently booking approx 5 weeks in advance, of course taking on extra breakdowns where possible.

Christmas & New Year Opening Times

Thank you again to all our fantastic loyal customers for their business and support in this strange 2020 year!

  • Closed week of 21st of December for Christmas
  • Open 29th, 30th and 31st December.
  • Closed for New year.
  • Open Monday 4th January for 2021

Please note we are now booking towards the end of January. Of course we will help where we can with extra breakdowns.

Open again!

We have now re-opened our reception with a screen on the front desk.

We are only allowing one customer in reception at a time, unless it is raining please stand just inside the door.
If customers prefer not to enter reception or use the card machine pad, we can still meet outside the front door and take card payments over the phone. We will be anti-bac wiping the card machine and sides after each customer visit.

There are still no waiting appointments or loan vehicles at present. Thank you for your understanding.

Reopening on Monday 18th of May

We are pleased to say our workshop is reopening on Monday 18th of May

We are still carrying out the contactless procedure to reduce the risk of contact spread of infection, to yourselves and our staff so we can keep safe and operational. Our reception remains closed, with bookings only possible via the phone(01425 277800), email, facebook or the booking tool on our website.

No waiting appointments can be provided at present as reception is closed, and loan cars are currently unavailable for virus spread prevention until further notice.

Some of our parts suppliers are down on staff, along with all BMW/ Mini dealerships partly closed meaning repairs can take longer if required, please allow for this possible eventuality. (Pre-booked tasks will already have the parts in stock ready for fitment).

Please see our contactless drop off and collection procedure below;

  • Upon arrival we will meet you in the car park with our job card to discuss your booking 2 metres away, we will then take your key in an anti-bac wipe to cleanse straight away.
  • When the Technican goes to your vehicle to bring into the workshop, all contact areas will be anti-bac’d wiped with a fresh pair of disposable gloves on.
  • Once the car is complete, card payment over the phone is the only payment method to reduce physical contact as our reception area is closed. No cash is being accepted at present.
  • During collection we will meet you at the workshop door with your key placed on the table outside, your invoice and other paperwork will be on the passenger seat.
  • We also have an outside hours drop off and collection procedure, please call us for this procedure.

Cononavirus Update: We are closing until further notice.

? We are closing for now ?

For the safety of our staff, customers and their families, to prevent the spread of the virus. We are closing until further notice.

The 6 month MOT extension has reduced the need for us to remain open.
The GOV/ DVSA are updating the extended expiry dates bit by bit, so please don’t panic if your vehicles date has not changed yet. It will be extended by 6 months if it is due after the 1st of April.
